Ladakh Valley

Ladakh - "The Land of Passes" is entwined with endless legends, myths and folklores. Few of the popular treks include Markha Valley Trek, Chadar Trek, Stok Kangri and Lamyuru to Padum. Chadar Trek gets its name due to the formation of a thick white sheet of ice on the Tsarap river. This is a perfect winter trek and once in a lifetime experience. Stok Kangri Trek is for seasoned trekkers and doesn't require a lot of technical knowledge, Lamyuru to Padum trek starts from the famous monastery of Lamyuru and enters Zanskar through most isolated villages of Lingshet, Photoksar and Padum.
